Covid..... What Covid 19, just Covid 19 idiots

Just back from one of our local sites for a 3 day test to see that everything works as it should, ready for a 14 nighter to a lovely Cl North Norfolk in June.

We are both totally outraged by many of our fellow members that disregarded daily the site regulations regarding the covid 19 safety protections laid down at the Carsington site by the excellent wardens that go to great lengths to ensure the site is safe for every single one of its membership .

It wasn't just the one but the many.

We  were on a pitch opposite the facilities block & the number of people entering & using the toilet areas with total disregard for wearing a mask inside, never mind stopping to use the hand gel sanitisation & wrist band control to show that a maximum of 6 people inside at anyone time.

Thank goodness we use our own caravan  end washroom, if this is how so called responsible people act when asked to perform simple instructions even a child of 5 could follow, the entire network should be shut down with immediate effect, because if it's happening on one site there will be others too.

I found that too. Just one hook free and  only one other person inside. I put them all in the bucket when I came out, However its easily done and I cant work up any outrage over it myself.smile

Totally agree. I almost did it once, but realised before I had gone more than a few yards.

From our limited use of the facilities the main issue seems to be folk leaving bands on the hooks when they leave. Several of the sites we stayed on were small with petite blocks and first thing in the morning it was clear I was the only one in, however several bands were on. I removed them and returned all to the pot on exit.

The last site we were on there were no bands on the hooks when I went to use the facilities so put on on the hook  entered the building find the two cubicles in use and one person waiting, ,not pleased when I said "it seems some need to go to specsavers",, and walked out, not to be out done  used  OHs radar keysurprised

Just back from a week at Wood Farm, former AS site, and they had a quite ingenious system.

They opened all the toilets, washing cubicles and showers, except one by the door, and reminded people to social distance.

In the whole week I never encountered anyone else in the block even after they closed some of the self contained “bathrooms”.

Now, to give a fair picture I should say I mainly used the blocks at about 7-7.30 but don’t think that there would be likely to be an issue with numbers, and as a result distancing, till we get to the school holiday periods.
