Health and safety

keep reading many a story in the paper about health and safety issues but unfortunately like the club has joined as well. It starts with me not being on level ground and not being able to reach the top of my fiama porch awning. Not a problem, go and borrow a three step ladder from the site warden. Before I continue, may I say the warden was the same opinion as myself but as he said his hands were tied. He remark was no we cannot lend you the ladder but if you walk out the front you might just find one lying around. In which I did. He said that I should have been on a ladder course and be wearing safety equipment. (Three Ladder steps)

Then to top it all, my wife went to iron clothes after being away for three weeks but was told they have been banned on health and safety issue. They have been banned on all sites within the club.

From equires, I cannot get a answer from the club as to why. Perhaps we should stop ironing at home as these irons are so dangerous.

I could understand if the organisation was a fly by night which did not service the irons and wiring.

What next, no showers because we might slip, washing machines as we might electrocute ourselves?

Please reverse this stupid decision as soon as possible.

P.S I have treid to put this on the discussion page but cannot find any link. Is there a reason for this to be complicated so as the everyday caravanners are not heard.
