New app is not user friendly

Having down loaded the new App as instructed, we have not been able to carry out a search. How do you search for a campsite name? How do you search for a list of all sites in the Lake District for e.g? Even 'my bookings' don't display well, you have to click into it twice to remind yourself where you are going! The Map opens in a different location each time we try to look, surely it would use my location and start there? The new App is terrible and not user friendly, the old version was far easier in my/our opinion. We have an iPhone and a Samsung, both display differently even tho' we have changed settings etc... Very disappointed so far...

Couldn’t agree with you more! I have just been forced to “ update” and I must say it’s horrendous to use compared to the “ old*” * and much easier to use and navigate UK Sites App. The old app was my preferred method of booking.
I used to think how easy to find and book a site whilst on the road. Those days have gone!
This new App has a real messy search page which could be simplified for the user. The main map is glitchy to say the least! That coupled with the constant crashes make very annoying to use. I really think CAMC  have made a major error in releasing this as it could actually stop new members booking sites. The last version was clear and concise. This is a mess!  Developers should take a look at the Search for Sites to see how it should be done!

Caravan and Motorhome Club please I'm begging you to put the prices for the CLs back up again!! I live in my van FT and being able to easily find and use CLs has been a lifesaver. But now there are no prices available on the app or site, I have no idea what each costs, and I sure don't have the time to ring around each one! As a result of this, I know for a fact CLs are losing out as (and I'm sure other are too) I'm turning to other apps that offer a more user-friendly searching experience. Please please reinstate the prices, it's a nightmare!!

I tried booking a site with the new app with my phone, what an absolute nightmare, i got to where its asking for my DOB but the only way to get back to the 1950s was to do it day by day.

But i managed to make the booking on my laptop, but if I'm away in the motorhome i don't have that facility i would need to ring to make that booking.

I spent 22 mins on the phone to complain about it, but 22 mins wait is totally unacceptable, but i can see why they are busy if everyone is having to ring to make a booking.

I got transferred to web support, he informed me they are aware of the problem with the app, and are working on an update.

The web developers must be a bunch of amateurs to make such a huge error.

The app should be 100% perfect before it is released. Its not a  minor glitch, the app has obviously been rushed out.

I can see why they are asking for a deposit, with these selfish idiots booking a site and not turning up, because they can.

But these people spoil it for everyone else.

I am trying to use the app.  But having been lucky enough to have 2 weeks in France recently, I used Search for Sites and Park4night without any difficulties.  I expected that the CMC app would be at least as functional.   It seems that I was wrong.  Why can't the CMC just make something that is as good as these?     I can't search for a town, and see what is nearby.

Every time I use an alternative app increases the chance that I will be booking elsewhere and not using the club.
