I guess the proof of the pudding will be in the eating...e.g.when you get a nice reply, offering you a great deal that you cant refuse, and you are singing the praises of RP on CT,  will look out for the flying pigs.

Two weeks Red Pennant motoring and personal cover while we go to a holiday house across the water - so Caravan cover not required.  Price quoted was £380. But they didn't send me a survey asking why I hadn't taken it up. Perhaps they could guess.

Like AD we also have stopped using RP, we have cover with our bank for both breakdown and medical insurance.

We did use RP for the longstay again like AD but since they changed the rules we just use the bank cover.

My bank also provides breakdown cover free with the account TG but it does not cover my motorhome. I should point out neither this or the travel insurance is free anymore. New account holders will have to pay a monthly charge to obtain them but for some it can still work out cheaper than buying annual policies. Cover also stops at 80yrs of age.
