So where is this £10 a night saving ?

We have just returned to caravanning after a long time and decied to join the caravan club this time out.

One of the advertising blurbs states you can save up to £10 a night so get your membership money back in 5 stays. How does this work, we have stopped at 2 cc sites so far and not had any discount, also when we signed up we ticked the box to join the North Wales Centre, we have never received any communication from them, makes you feel really welcome, so to sum up is it really worth joining the club ?
