Posted on 03/07/2019 21:28 by davetommoDon’t think I will bother £208 for the same cover I get with lv Britannia rescue for £65. It’s cheaper to stay with them an pay to join ccc.

I don't know where the £208 comes from or what it includes and with which company.
Mayday Premium through CAMC and Green Flag is £103.50 and Premium plus is £130.
If you are happy with Britannia that is great but does the £65 include the same level of cover as Mayday? (The basic Mayday cover is £72.)

Posted on 03/07/2019 21:32 by JVB66It was £149 including ccc membership, what cover are you after and getting now?
Which was as good cover as Mayday but hopefully better for our circumstances

Posted on 04/07/2019 08:26 by dunelmI'm interested in knowing if it is"as good cover as Mayday" why you hope it will be better. Have you had problems with Mayday? If it is about vans in storage does Arrival offer something different?

It was advised on a thread earlier this year that Mayday double recovery if the van is in storage and it is the tow vehicle that has broken down, they will only take both to one point ,they apparently will not drop off c/van at storage then car at garage and then passengers to home
Where RAC arrival via ccc will
Clarification of what Mayday is contracted to do , is still with the cc to be advised on here?

The RAC has been getting some bad reviews of late including one very bad one on the C&CC forum. Mayday has a far better press but it falls short in that if you have a caravan in storage they will not guarantee taking the caravan there and the car to your home or storage saying only if they can be done as long as they are in line at no extra cost and if the driver agrees.
You have to decide which is best for you in the circumstances.
