Car in lake; Red Pennant to the rescue.

At the weekend we checked into a site in Nouan le Fuzelier in the Loire for an overnight on the way back from the Dordogne.

While we were in Reception a man was talking on his phone to Red Pennant.  The lady behind the desk in Reception told us that he had just arrived and his automatic car had been left in Drive whilst unhitching his caravan and, once it was free of the 'van, it drove itself straight into the lake ahead.  We pitched our own 'van then went down to the lake to have a look and saw the Kia Sorrento was bonnet down in the water.

About half an hour later a recovery vehicle arrived and the car was pulled from the water and assessed for damage.  The truck did not take the car away so we assume that not much damage was done and they were able to carry on as normal.

I would love to hear the driver's version of events and to hear what he thought of the service that Red Pennant provided because from what we heard and saw everything seemed to happen very quickly and efficiently.
