Car Insurance with the Club

Today we received our renewal notice from the Club for our tow car.  We originally took out the insurance for the 180 day European cover it offers but the premiums have increased considerably this year.  We have phoned around and have been amazed that 'the Other Club' offers more cover (240 days European; included legal expenses cover, and courtesy car) for over £100 a year less.  Perhaps sometimes it does not pay to be a loyal customer and second year insurance renewal seems to be a ripoff ???
