Can I ask for comments from fellow caravanners  who have Caravan Club caravan Insurance.Regarding Personal Accident cover. In section 5 it details the  "definitions" for exclusion of claims. There is the statement that states that" Permanent Total Disability shall mean disablement which entirely prevents the assured from attending to his usual occupation and which lasts for a period of 12 months" ....................

Would you presume this includes or excludes Retired assured members?

I feel this is very vague especially as there are a large number of retired caravanners who are using the CC insurance, for their beloved possession.

I was assured by a Director of the Insurance Company that this is loosely taken to mean ability to do everyday  items in your daily  life.. but to me it did not read that way and I would suggest a closer scrutiny of the policy  before signing, as accidents can happen to anyone.I know we take out the insurance to protect the caravan but it was good to know I would be covered in the event of the accident,,,,,,, Sorry I was wrong I am retired !!!!
