Not many of us enjoy the experience of going through the rigours of making contact with a company or organistion utilising the dreaded call centre. However few can be as difficult as my recent experiences when all I wanted to do was notify Caravan Club Insurance service that I have recently changed my address. Frustration is the name of the game as you are 'fobbed-off' with pre-recorded messages imploring you (the caller) to be patient as they are 'experiencing a high volume of calls' and want to deal with you (the caller) as soon as possible. As if anyone gives a monkeys!! Twenty minutes of pre-recorded gobbledigook and bubblegum music is too much for your average caravanner to be expected to stomach. There has to be a better way of notifying a change of address - like filling in an on-line form perhaps?
