Club pet insurance anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has experience of the pet insurance scheme available through the Club.  The renewal quote for insuring our dog has become ridiculous, and a much more favourable quote was obtained from ringing the number on the Club website.

However, the scheme is run by Devit, and my first impressions of their customer service are that it is somewhat less than that provided when you ring the Club.  Also they refuse to provide a written quotation, or send out a specimen policy document, referring me to the information on the Club site - howver that is just a summary and gives no details of exclusions etc.

We have a few weeks before our existing cover ends, so would like to ask if anyone who has this cover is happy with it, is the small print reasonable?   Also has anyone had claims experience, if so how did that go?
