Hi everyone!

Share your views about our UK Club campsite facilities and earn a cash reward!

We’re partnering with Discovery Research, an independent research agency, to gather some feedback to help us deliver great holidays on UK Club campsites. We love to hear your feedback on likes and dislikes, suggestions for improvements and reactions to new ideas.

We’re now looking for some members to take part in a short online research community to help shape future UK Club campsite facilities.

About the research community:

  • The online community will run 11, 12 and 13 April 2022
  • There will be 3 tasks to be completed - one per day
  • Each task will take approximately 30-45 minutes
  • To help us understand your thoughts, we may ask you to share pictures/ video about the topics we will be discussing
  • By taking part you will earn a thank you cash reward!

To be eligible to take part you must:

  • Have visited a UK Club campsite in the past 12 months
  • Be available to participate 11, 12 and 13 April 2022
  • If you fancy participating and can answer yes to both of the above questions, simply register your interest before before Wednesday 6 April by clicking HERE to complete a short Google form hosted by our trusted partner Discovery Research.

As you’ll appreciate, we need to involve a really good mix of members to ensure we get well-rounded feedback, so whilst we won’t be able to follow up with everyone who registers, we do truly appreciate all interest shown. After registration, if you’ve been selected a Discovery researcher will be in touch with you to confirm your participation.

I think this exercise could add more frustration for those taking part already trying to log on. If the present historical problems were sorted it would be a good insight into various opinions no doubt.

I thought I'd try it but the on line form requires a lot of information which is no doubt very useful data to CAMC.  As there's no indication of what follows I decided against, I wonder how many will actually take part?

I was put off by the very first box showing my real Gmail email address. It’s an address I’ve not used with CAMC. Then I realised the survey is a Google form. This is a data gathering exercise as you suggest, Brue, but I doubt the data will only be seen and used by the club.

Sorry, I'm out.

Call me a cynic, but having watched quasi public sector organisations waste shed loads of money over the years on flash consultants who borrow your watch to tell you the time, it all sounds very familiar. It’s the kind of thing teams do just before they get reorganised out of existence or implode. If you want a masterclass in ultra trendy, impenetrable management speak (what the heck is semiotics?) check out their website Discovery Research I’d prefer something simple that doesn’t involve “multiple touch points” and “facial coding” and didn’t waste money that could be better used for cheaper site fees. The cost of this will be eye watering.

I’m out too (probably out of the Club!)

A bit short notice, so in all probability only members reading CT will see it, I haven't seen anything on FB so it will  hardly be a cross section of members!   I would have thought post on here  highlighting members requirements would be sufficient enough to give the Club food for thought.

Rowena, I think your overseas sites booking department knows very well which sites sell well and what facilities and activities they provide. If members have been booking those sites for many years that is a good guide to what they want. A fact finding tour of inspection to those best selling overseas sites by your UK sites team might save them trying to reinvent  the wheel.
