Thanks, TDA, but I don’t think I’d rush to sign up even if I was eligible as it looks a bit involved with the need to deposit funds up front as far as I can tell. It’s run by a third party company that I’ve never heard of.🤷🏻‍♂️

Does everybody who is eligible (aged over 60)that we can get 10 per cent off our shop in store at Iceland and Food Warehouse on a Tuesday ,and still get free delivery if over £25 spent in store and slots available

PS those who look younger than sixty may get asked for proof of age

Yes, it was the putting credit onto a card bit that I wondered about🤔 And if it affects things like Clubcard. I like a nice simple zap as you go, Apple Pay at the end scenario myself.

I did chuckle at M&S offering 6%. Given how much their prices can be inflated, it probably works out even🤭

Why is the Club involved in things like this?

Has the Club done financial due diligence on People Value Ltd before recommending members pay money to them?

Is it wise for me to pay money in the hope of getting a voucher from a company whose accounts on line show that their liabilities are about £1 million greater than their assets?

Would  I lose my money if the company in question ceased trading? Of course I would.

Basically you are being asked to deposit your money with A N Other, they lend it back to you. If they cease to exist so will your money.

Like Euror I am wondering why CAMC is involved in such schemes.

PS check out your own bank, you might find a saving scheme offering 5% interest at the moment.

Their T&Cs are not the friendliest, as if you leave membership of CAMC then your money is void and belongs to this company.

'Your account will also be closed if You leave Your employer or association or affinity sponsoring the scheme or You are in breach of these terms and conditions. Once the closure process is complete, You will no longer be able to access the value in your My Cashpot and it will be void'.

We rarely buy food at M&S but Mrs M has a "sparks" card which has just started an advent calendar of offers. First day was a free bottle of plum gin liquer. We thought it was probably a con, maybe just a miniature, but no, it was a full bottle. She did feel obliged to buy something as well, just 2 Eccles cakes (perfect combination if you ask me!) smile
