Alko 3004 tow hitch

Hi I have an also 3004 tow hitch fixed to my lunar clubman. Unfortunately on my last trip the alko hitch pad wear indicators have broken off I am aware you can purchase these for £1.50 each however I have no idea how to fit them. I spoke to my service garage and they said I don’t need to replace them. Does anyone know if this is correct or know how to fit them?

Emily’s dad you have got it in one that is exactly what I am trying to replace as well as the green but. I know tauntontrailers sell them just need to know how they fit.
