Beware the AA

The AA has just sent me their latest e-mail advertising campaign stating that they guarantee their caravan insurance will be chepaer than the caravan clubs.

BE WARNED, their new for old clause states:- '

replacing the Caravan and Contents if stolen or damaged beyond economic repair
with a new one of similar make and model subject to availability and subject to the
limit of the Sum Insured as shown in the Schedule, or, if not replaced, we will
make a cash settlement limited to the market value at the time of the loss.
We will decide whether a), b) or c) will apply.

I bet they choose c) every time so this is definately NOT a new for old policy and should not be compared with the Caravan Clubs.

Ro, are the caravan club aware of this new scam yet?
