I have recently purchased a 2013 Elddis Affinity 482 which is fitted with the iDC system. This is my second Elddis but I have not had this system before.

I have had my towcar's electrics changed to a single socket as I previously used an adapter on my 2011 Odyssey 540.

The problem I have with the iDC is that it seems to kick in whenever I go over bumpy roads, of which we have many in Lincolnshire. I have now done 2 test runs in the Affinity and on main roads and motorways there is no problem. It is somewhat disconcerting that when going along a straight road the caravan brakes are suddenly applied.

This happens fairly frequently and I am taking the van back to my dealers shortly for a few things to be looked at. Should they also look at the iDC or is this quite normal?

Any advice would be appreciated.
