Carrying bikes inside caravan

If we could get 2 bikes in a Lunar Ariva, one of the smallest and slenderest vans at that time, then I'm sure you could find a system to get 2 into an 8' wide xcel.
We stood them up on one wheel to swivel into the lounge. Must admit it's now easier with the coachman 460.
