I have been looking at a caravan with the door on the “wrong” side.

Im wondering what are the pros and cons of having this layout.

All your views appreciated😀

It makes no difference whether it's a caravan or MH. A door's a door and, as pitching on club sites is permitted either way around, just buy what you're comfortable with.

Are you staying in Scotland then tongue-out

If you don't limit yourself to CAMC sites you can do what you like. Pitch across the pitch, diagonally, put 2 awnings up, one on each side, sun canopy on the non door side and keep your car in the shade.

Now if you want two awnings, what about this, easily allowed in France.

It’s allowed over here as well, you just choose your CL wisely.😁 It’s all to do with space.

As long as any fire breaks are maintained , or you may well have any insurance claim rejected
