Hello,
I'm a caravan newbie and a first time poster.
I've managed to pinch my grey tow cable, I caught it behind my tow ball while reversing.
From what I can gather on Google this is a 12S 7pin socket cable and I appear to have cut the power to the caravan battery, fridge and reversing light.
Thought I'd got away without causing any damaged but I've exposed the wire of the inner green cable. This repair is within my skill set.
However, I can't find the location of the fuse that has blown. It's a 2011 B6 Passat, and I've checked the fuses by the drivers door and under the bonnet.
I bought the car 2nd hand with the tow bar fitted so don't know if it was by VW, or a diy job.
Is it likely there's an in line fuse somewhere?
Is there a likely place to find a fuse?
Thought I'd ask here before supporting an auto electricians lavish lifestyle.
Thanks
Andy
