Ambulance conversion to motorhome

I've seen 'retired' ambulances for sale on eBay, and now there is a chap in south Norfolk who is advertising that he can convert one of these into a budget motorhome- he even advises on the purchase of the vehicle if required, and buys damaged caravans to get 'donor' fitments cheaper! The photos on his website of finished projects look good! Of course, the former ambulances will have high mileage, but on the other hand, will have been serviced properly and on time. Even if you did eventually have to pay more for replacement mechanical bits, you would still have a more modern motorhome for the money than one of those 20 year old wrecks that people try to sell at too high prices on eBay!  What do you think?
