Dead batteries

Keeping finding a dead cell once the battery is flat would suggest that something is causing the battery to go flat in the first place and the cell is failing as a result.  So something is on all the time and drawing power. You just have to find it!

Have you checked your Control Panel to make sure the cab battery has not be set instead of the leisure battery to provide internal power? Do you have a Solar Panel? If so is it set up to charge both cab and hab batteries? Would batteries develop dead cells in such a short period of time, especially new ones? I could understand them going flat if there was something live attached to them, but dead cells? Are Halfords fitting the right battery? I don't know if you are on Facebook but the Bailey Motorhome Owners Group is very useful for technical info.

It does sound like there is a draw on the battery caused by something. I noticed my battery dropping too quickly in storage, I can monitor the health of both the vehicle and habitation batteries remotely.  I caught mine in time, it was a wardrobe interior light I had inadvertently left on not noticing that I’d not shut the door fully.
