Hi. I have a diesel heater in the motorhome. Its a webasto 2000 stc.

It has a simple control knob that just turns from high to low.

When i turn it on after a short while the green light flashes 5 quick flashes followed by 3 slow flashes. Then it shuts down.

I was hoping someone might know what this fault is.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Have you got any operating instructions ?

I googled the make & model of your heater and found this manual.  It contains an explanation of how to decode the flashes to work out the fault code.

Hope this helps.

Most common problems with Webasto are

Not enough diesel in tank

Exhaust outlet is blocked with debris.

Will then need a power down by removing the fuses next to heater, then fuses in and restart. Running engine whilst starting heater also helps with low voltage.

Good luck

Thank you for your replies. I have half a tank of diesel so don't think it's a fuel problem. It could be low voltage. Going to Warwick this weekend so will have a good run, will try it gain when I get there.

I can't seem to locate any fuses by the heater. God knows where they are,?
