We put up with a dripping tap for months before I decided to 'have a look'. Ours is a simple non-electric single lever tap so I thought it would be simple. In the end it was, I simply ordered a new Ceramic Cartridge Valve for £5.00 and fitted in minutes. However to get to that level of understanding involved removing the sink 3 times, the complete tap unit twice, pricing a new tap at £90 and spending hours on the internet. If I had used this site I bet someone would have told me in minutes. However I must admit I learned a lot during the process.
