When you purchase a brand new Motorhome you don’t expect to keep constantly paying out for travel costs to have warranty work done in the first two years.

Then in the fourth year pay out hundreds of pounds to have safety repairs done which should never have occurred min the first place.

Actually, if it’s British made, you have done well to get a couple of fault free years out of it. Many don’t make it through the first tour away without something going wrong, something dropping off, etc..... It’s always been good practice to try and buy not too far from home, particularly for new outfits that are tied to warranties. Last time we looked around new British MHs, we were astonished at how flimsy and poorly put together some of the fixtures and fittings were, possibly to save on weight no doubt.

I agree about the base. Perhaps in another lifetime we will be able to choose a reliable base to go with the LV we have chosen.

Trouble was we fell in love with our LV not realising the the base would be a complete letdown. Ah well you live and learn.
