Playing iTunes through Peugeot Boxer Radio

When I acquired my Peugeot Boxer based motorhome in 2018 I was able to link my iPhone 8 via Bluetooth to the radio and play music and make hands free calls.  Recently, although the telephone is still linked via Bluetooth, when I push the Media button on the radio I get the message No Media Available.  I appear to have lost this link.  I cannot find a way to connect.  I have down loaded the manual but the section on audio is missing. So whilst I can make telephone calls I cannot play music.

Has anyone got any ideas?

I’d try a reset - ‘forget’ the radio bluetooth device on your iPhone and then try pairing them again. If there’s a ‘source’ option on your radio you might need to set to bluetooth.

Bought a USB voltage tester from EBay for less than a fiver.  The USB/Aux socket in the central bin shows no power.  Hopefully will be dealt with by Peugeot under warranty.

It sounds like the problem with the USB socket is a different issue to the music not playing when the phone is connected to the vehicle via bluetooth.

My guess is that you have accidentally turned off media audio sharing at the phone end. Most smart phones allow you to choose what is shared. Go into Settings/Bluetooth and find your vehicle. Click on the settings for that and make sure Media Audio is turned on.

Unfortunately not applicable to iPhone BT settings.

Prescot46, did you try forgetting the radio device in BT settings and pairing again?

Hi. Had the same issue when setting up my phone to our MH. Bluetooth seems to work for phone only despite trying every setting. Once connected to the USB socket lower down you can play all your media ok and the media will display on the head unit. Hope that helps.
