awning bracket with no internal beading

ive just bought a full awning, the price was reduced as the internal beading strip for attatching the clips onto has been sewn on the outside by mistake, i was told it will be fine if i use the old style brackets that screw onto the van, but my question is could i still use the quick fix brackets with double sided tape on them instead of them being connected to the awning beading or would this set up be no good, im looking at options before screwing brackets to the side of the van
