Groundsheets and awnings with sleep pods

Hi - We have a drive away awning with two internal sleep pods for the kids, which have built in groundsheets.  We had a bit of a nightmare pitching on a hardstanding last year, but the site we're booked into this summer wants all groundsheets to be lifted every day.  What's the best thing to do with the sleeping pods which will have all the kids stuff in them, and lifting isn't really an option?

The skirt of the awning has little rings that don't fit rock pegs through so we feel a bit caught between a grass pitch and a hardplace - so to speak!!

Any advice would be very welcome.

Thanks.
