NOSE WEIGHT GAUGE

After struggling for years with a nose heavy caravan according to 2 nose weight gauges that cost around £10 each I spent £30 on the Milenco one that is to BS7691 standard and accurate to 2Kg.  Surprised I can't believe the difference, both of the other gauges have been wildly over reading.  Normally I could not carry any gas in the van and everything had to be very carefully loaded to get a 70kg nose weight that my old Fiat Marea required, even the toilet chemicals had to go in the car.  Today I have loaded the van for a 2 week holiday including a half full 6kg calor light bottle and tested the nose weight with the milenco.  I could not believe it the nose weight was just under 75Kg, I have tested it several times and the result is the same, perfect for my VW Passat.  All those years of towing with a light nose and struggling to strap the gas into the car.  Please everyone throw you old nose weight gauges away and get the Milenco.  And before all those people that use bathroom scales pipe up, do your scales meet any standard????
