SatnavSnooper S6450 CC Ventura Pro Caravan Club Ed

After difficulties in the Ardenne forest last September we invested in this caravan-friendly satnav for our first ever visit to Spain to explore the north for a month.  Satnav worked beautifully on couple of test local trips and then on the long journey to the south of England.  It jammed up on our first journey in Spain.  We're told it's a software problem and satnav will have to be returned when we get home.  Wondering if this is a one-off or if others have had problems. Dealer is happy to refund or replace so we have that decision to make.  We always use maps as well but are really missing the satnav for finding nearest food shopping and negotiating or avoiding town centres.  Are now buying better scale maps than our big Europe book but still had an avoidable caravan-towing tour of Santander.  Divorce isn't imminent.
