Jaguar towbar recommendations?

I would appreciate any comments on fitting a towbar to a 2006 X-Type 2.0 D.

Is it essential to have a 'swan-neck' tow ball for an Al-Ko   3004 hitch?

Does the towball interfere with reversing sensors in non towing use?

Finally which wiring system is best, isolating relays or integrated with system management software?

Your practical experience  would be appreciated.
