I would like to thank Lutz, Highlandman, Brummie and Chris Rogers for all thier advice in my previous post. i have found this to be both helpfull and reassuring.
I have a friend who wants to purchase a van as he has the bug from me and need advice on his intended setup as he is not cinfident with the size of car and has had two different answers from Caravan Dealerships.
His setup will be
Kia Ceed 1.6 crdi gs (5 door hatch 2007)
Van he is looking at is a Bailey Pageant Moselle
His car according to the V5 can tow 1400kg with a maximum nose weight of 75kg. His Vans MTPLM is just under 1279kg taking his towing ratio over 85% (more to about 98%)
He is more worried about damaging the car with such a large van on the back of a relatively small car
If anybody can assist with this one I will be indebted. Thank you for any advice Fred
