Hi everone, just wondered if anyone has experience of the Mazda CX-60 Homura, specifically the diesel, not Hybrid, as a tow car. We currently have a Hyundai Santa Fe 2015 which is manual & tow a Swift Elegance 580. Very pleased with current car & have been to Germany Austria this year plus it's only done 60,000 miles so still got plenty of life. I can only find review of Hybrid type & before we test drive thought I would ask question. I know that only option is an automatic, so rather hesitant to change as I do like manual transmission. Many thanks.

Given this is quite new to market, expensive for most people and out of favour diesel I think you will struggle to find a caravan towing owner who also happens to frequent this forum! Have you tried a Mazda forum?

I seem to recall on another forum someone looking at buying a PHEV for towing but never saw any follow up. Autocar recently tested a diesel with mixed outcome and I am sure Diesel & Eco Car magazine have reviewed diesel and PHEV versions. I must admit it is an interesting range and had it been available 2 years ago it would have been on my shortlist.
