Skoda Yeti - Hit Not a Myth

Just read the Skoda Yeti report in the February CC magazine, Hit Not a Myth. Very good reading and a very good report for the Yeti. I bought the Octavia Estate 4x4 simply because I needed more load space for work use; same engine, gearbox and Haldex traction (no off road button). However Yeti owners, are the weights correct as stated?

For the Octavia 4x4, the kerbweight  / mass in service on V5C is 1,495kg including 75kg driver / fuel.

The plated weights are:

Gross vehicle weight 2,095kg (payload 600kg)

Gross train weight 3,695kg, giving a towing limit of 1,600kg

Another observation, just my opinion, the engine is quite, not ‘audible’ when pulling hard through all the gears up to 6^th and 60mph.

My van's MTPLM is 1,230kg with a tow ratio of 82%.
