Towball Shock Absorbers.

I have just changed my towing vehicle for a Toyota Hilux 2022, with leaf springs on the back axle. The new models are much less stiff at the back, but it has been suggested that a towball fitted with some kind of shock absorber might be a good idea as firm rear suspension can transmit too much shock to the A frame. I have my doubts.

Anyone any experience please?

Hi.  I can see you didn't get any replies here but wondered if you ever found a solution.  I also tow with a pickup truck and it's not the most comfortable towing experience plus there's the concern about what the shocks could be doing to the caravan.

Cheers
