towbar fitting warranty

We've had many a towbar fittet, on company cars ( before I retired) and on our own ( we towed horse trailers for 15 + years ). Almost without exception, we've used the mobile fitting service from Towequipe including our latest car, a 2008 Kia Sorento XS auto.,which had the full towbar,towhitch and 13pin socket fitted in Sept. 2010 ...... and Towequipe have had to rewire it and refit it twice since then ( the last time in April 2011 ) , as AA and Green Flag reports stated that problems with exterior lights were due to basic wiring insufficiencies.

Yesterday's AA call-out report was emailed to Towequipe, clearly stating a fundamental earthing fault. Towequipe have refused to attend unless I pay them money, as it is more than 12 months since they "inspected" our fitment ( at which time they earthed it incorrectly) : their "lifetime" warranty is negated if one does not pay for an annual insoection.

Blow the warranty ; this is their fault : they should correct it, f.o.c.

So, they've lost a long-standing customer, who is making known their short-sightedness and falling standards to the widest of audinces.
