I posted this on tthe Trailer Tent forum - but, looking at the slow traffic in there, it seems that few CC members are interested in canvas contraptions.

This, however, might tempt you (it certainly tempts me)

The price is just over £9,000 (brand new)  - and one must consider that a flimsy Pennine folding camper will set you back aound £13,000

Weight is over 1700kg - with a further 1070 kg load allowance (take everything along!)  so no towing it with a 2CV ;) - but it's a lot of unit for not a lot of cash!  (oh, and the noseweight is just over 180kg ;)
