Getting a trailer tent

Hi I am looking for advice please. After having to have my leg amputated I just cannot get into my caravan. I tried but have badly cut my good leg! I also have ms just to complicate things. We are beginning to think that maybe we would be better off with a folding camper or trailer tent?  Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also are there any steps with handrails so we could continue to use the caravan.
