Don't put it away wet. unless you've got space at home. Go somewhere sunny and not the Lake District-it's always pouring it down with rain!! We have a folding camper Conway Cruiser 2005 which we tow with a 2001 Skoda Octavia Estate and when it gets close to the day of leaving we put the awning down early to make sure it is dry.
Anyway happy camping- its a great hobby to have.
Hope this helps
Mandy.

As easy T says any wet canvas is a problem. We ended up with mold on one of our tents, when it wasn't spread out properly to dry in our garage. When we were tenting, it was one of the main reasons we did not go down the trailer tent route and just stuck to a trailer and large frame tents. Separate tents could be erected in our garden to dry, weather permitting, but there is no access for a trailer tent.
