This is a posting from Caravan Salon Düsseldorf's Facebook page, does any member have any information about these ANGLES MORTS?

For those who want to go to France: The expert organization K ÜS points out that since this year all vehicles over 3,5 tonnes with warnings ′′ dead angle ′′ (′′ Attention! Angles Morts ′′) must be equipped. This requirement also applies to vehicles not registered in France. Anyone who drives and gets caught without these stickers has to expect a fine of 135 euros. !!️

That's right. It applies separately to each vehicle and a car towing a caravan is two vehicles.

Lutz .... might I draw your attention to a question I asked you the other week 😉

Question in Parts & acc

I'm sorry I missed your post as I rarely look under the Parts & Accessories heading. The link that you supplied didn't help much, either, as it opens up a page showing spring assisters.

I think that your question relates to the Multicon plug. I had a Multicon system on the very first caravan that I had in the early 90's, but I was never really happy with it. It was susceptible to poor connections. To my mind it's a poor compromise.

Thanks Lutz ..... ooops! I should have checked the link, but you found my question. It cropped elsewhere on the web & I couldn't find anything other than the current 13 pin plug/socket.

We have a Campervan weighing under 3.5 tons. However it has been plated to 4.2. Am I correct in assuming that I do not need an angles mort sticker unless any additional load exceeds the 3.5. Tons

My understanding is anything over 3.5 t you should display Angles Mort signs. If your vehicle is plated 4.2 t then you should display.  Easy way to confirm this is how much road tax you are paying?  (£165?)

Just looked on 'ebay' at the stickers.Would my 'A' class " Concorde" be classed as a Bus or LKW   ??

If it’s a Motorhome over 3.5t then this applies.  Motorhomes from any Country are specifically mentioned in the regulation.
