I din't usse certificated locations (CL,s) very often but with only a couple of exceptions find that they are exactly what is said in the book.

CL.s vary considerably depending on the perception of the owner. Some hav an electric hook up (EHU) facilty but this made clear in the book.

On some you site yourself and then go off to find the owner. On some you again site yourself and the owner calls in to see you. I am booked on one later in the year for example and the owner does not live on site but has a box near the gate for the money.

One site I remeber well was in Cornwall and we were shon to the site but again this was made clear in the description.

CL's can now be looked up on line and this is often a better way to find the details and the maenities in the area. Usually the nightly fee is up to date on line but the telephone call to book the site should ask the fee and type of field etc.

CL'c are an excellent way of using your caravan or motorhome and even when ful you only have three neighbours.
