The club set rules requiring CL owners to have their EHU points tested and inspected which is very sensible. Our test certificate has recently expired and as we are now closed for the winter I intend to have the inspection done in March 2013 to ensure everything is in good order and is safe when our first visitors of the new season arrive. However the club tell me that this is not acceptable and if we do not have the inspection done now they will not renew our certificate for 2013 and will remove our CL from their list. This seems daft to me, would you service your outfit now, park it up for the winter and then just start using it on the 1st April or would you service it just before you intend to use it?
It looks like I don't have a choice and will have to get the inspection done PDQ but I do find the clubs attitude inflexible to say the least.
