Liars on page 38

On page 38 of the new magazine CL Site Updates the Closures section it states that 513 Pickering, High Rigg Farm has closed

Well I can categorically call whoever wrote this, a despicable liar who is trying to deceive the entire membership of the CC and the readers of the magazine into believing their slur.

Because we were there only last week and I have spoken to the owner today, and the business is thriving and growing into a beautifully located small touring and camping facility which has wooden pods for Glamping Camping (check them out) also there are miles of cycle tracks and walks and for the more adventurous there is GoApe http://goape.co.uk/ within a few minutes walk of the site. (booking is advised)

The reason these people lied to you, claiming that High Rigg Farm had closed is because they now have pitches for 6 caravans and 10 tents and to be a CL with the Caravan Club you only have to have a maximum 5 caravan pitches, the owners asked the club not to put “Closed” but "No Longer a CL"

Read http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=5542 for conformation of this fact and the telephone number to book

Also read the reviews regarding this site because it’s in one of the most beautiful areas of the county, so it's well worth a visit.

I wonder how many more untruths; can be found in the magazine??
