POIs for all CLs

There is a new update to Archies Campings available on line from the lst May 2022.  This update allows users to download POIs for all CLs (and CSs) to their SatNav.  Information is continuously being updated and it is the most accurate information available on line.

Current users of the website should update their version of Archies Camping to make sure that the information they have is up to date. Users of the App will find that it is automatically updated.

In this update information on many hundreds of smaller sites has been added to, and updated, sites which have closed have been removed, as have those which no longer accept tents or touring caravans or motorhomes. In order to help Archie keep the database up to date users should report any inaccurate information, any new sites they come across, or any that have closed down. There is a 'Contact me' button within the website.

For anyone not familiar with Archies Camping - it is the largest and most accurate database of the POIs and other information of almost 34,000 campsites throughout Europe, including the UK and the Republic of Ireland. It offers the ability to download POI information to almost every type of SatNav. The downloads are free, but there is an option to purchase an APP for users of Android and iPhones, which then has lifetime free updates.  There are separate files for all CAMC CLs and C&CC CSs making it much easier to find such sites.
