Capbreton aire

i did read on another forum that this wonderful aire was closed.....a large rock in the entrance way apparently....but I can confirm its open now...

Capbreton is a lovely seaside (and canal side) town and the aire is right on the beach in the dunes, Lovely marina and many dedicated cycle tracks,.

it costs €10 and every pitch has electic included, loads of room at this time of year, but warm enought to be sat out in the town...

we are only passing through but will add this to our list of potential longer stops.

I've ignored the irrelevant comments BB and others. Thanks for the photos, might get there in the future. Enjoy your travels. smile

such a shame that my information post, alerting Aires users to the fact that Capbreton was open again gets pounced on by those who have no interest in the subject.

Obviously if folk posted they have an interest!

Aires are not campsites

I think that most RV users know that.

I wouldn't want to think that CC sites were always they only option

Not sure that anybody that has posted on here is onder that delusion.

I really don't care too much if the Usual Subjects don't get it

No idea who 'the usual subjects' are but I am sure that they are not daft.

No need to get upset if some air their views BB

BB, I bet you're glad that you posted wink many thanks for the useful information.

We loved the area you are currently in, the cycle ride is lovely in good weather.

Safe drive home.
