We, I suspects along with others, need to escape abroad from Christmas and New Year 2020 with our caravan. There is just the two of us.  What do we need to know? Where do we go? How can we have a good Christmas?

With a caravan there really is very little choice but a campsite in southern Spain. But I'm afraid a good time on a campsite with lots OAPs can never be guaranteed. Can you bear to leave the caravan at home and fly somewhere livelier where younger people gather?

I think it depends on your budget, work commitments and time available. Perhaps start to talk to your local travel agents and see what they suggest.

But flights / hotels etc over Christmas and New Year can be hellishly expensive. Airports are never much fun, but are busier than ever at these peak times.

I can see the attraction of escaping to Spain in the ‘van, but I’d be in the dog house for years if I risked it!
