France Passion

I have used one of their sites by accident. It was listed on search4sites and was open to none members and I did not realise it was part of French Passion until I pulled onto it. This one was located on a farm and had a farm shop and I used it on a winter trip down to Spain. It was a bit like any free French aire in any village. I did buy something from their shop. Think I spent about 14 euros for a very quiet night and the facilities.

I have never felt the need to be a member because there are so many alternatives that can be used without the need to feel obliged to make a purchase from the owners.

Pics attached.

We feel the same Peedee.

Bit like Britstops, have to pay to join them, then either eat in the establishment or pay to park. Don't see the point in that. Plenty of places let you park for free if you buy something or make a donation. Quite happy to do that or use a CL, generally works out cheaper if not planning to eat out.

I am no motorhomer, but a friend who is speaks well of some of the France Passion locations he has used. He actively dislikes campsites which have rules, regulations and arrival times. So he likes the fact that France Passion locations aren’t like that at all. They are informal.

He speaks decent French and likes the chance of personal interaction with the hosts, enjoys seeing their lifestyle, and is happy to buy some of the foods, or cheeses or wines they produce. He admits he always spends more than he would if he stayed on a motorhome aire, and says he doesn’t mind that one bit. He is not the sort to look for cheapness everywhere.
