Has anybody taken advantage of the club offer of free Sanef tag application and is the tag worth the added extras you have to pay. Planning trip France - Spain next year. Have travelled down through Spain and returned April - June and never had queues at tolls etc. Would be nice though just to sail through & OH is not great at leaning out of window to insert card or deposit cash in bin.

Today we tried out our 'bip and go' tag for the first time on the A26 from Calais. We started with a hand held in front of windscreen attempt and it worked first time! We then attachd the tag to the windscreen in a small poly bag with duct tape ( in the Klyne position):that worked so we then had a run at a 30kph don't stop toll gate and that worked.

We will get around to usng the sticky mounting gizmo eventually. It doesn't seem to be as critical as we feared the postioning might be.

Meanwhile, we're 'over the moon'!

As we RAF types say "Per adua ad astra". In this case just the moon not stars. It's the best techno thingy we've aquired since we got a firestick for our telly!
