Hi, We're spending a few weeks touring Brittany during July. Can anyone suggest a caravan friendly route between Saint Malo and Quimper? Route planner is suggesting 2 potential routes. Ideally we'd prefer a more scenic route but as we'll be towing a caravan we will need to stick to the larger main roads. Route suggestions are:

1) N176 - N12 - D700 - D790 - N164 - N165 or

2) D137 - N138 - N24 - N165

Thank you.

I don’t know the road numbers but would go via St Brieuc, Carhaix Plouguer and Chateaulin -  but as they are all by passed you need not actually go into any of those towns. That road is good and is traffic and tourist free.

Thanks.  The route you suggest is option 1 above.  Can you recommend a good place to stop for a short break on route? Thanks

I agree with Jamsdad - just  stop if you feel the need.or if you see a picnic area.   But if you want diesel, petrol, recharge electric car, groceries, beer, wine, lunch or toilets, then there is an easy access Intermarche Hyper at Rostrenen - about 90 miles along your route.
