we have been to Hawes before but always front the Eastern side. We have now moved home and want to go again but are concerned about leaving the site as the way out would be through the town. Has anyone got the answer?

To reassure the OP, towing through the town from the site is no problem , just watch out for pedestrians walking in the road on the bridge at the falls . We came across a chap standing in the middle of the road taking photos, but just waited till he had finished, after all we’re all on holiday cool

I would think by the OP they are quite aware of what Hawes is like  undecided, just wanted clarification abut westbound towing through the village wink which they have been given in the first postsurprised

Thank you! Yes I am quite aware of the town itself so know that the road over the bridge is narrow.  I just thought I woild like clarification before I go.... if other people had found it difficult I may well have looked for a different route....... forewarned is forearmed!
