Just had a fantastic few days away here.  The site is situated adjacent to Carsington Water in Derbyshire with lots to see and do right on the doorstep.  Having said that if a bit of rest and relaxation is what you are after it's also pretty much a perfect choice.

Beautifully kept grounds find pitches nestled in amongst pine trees with woodland walks and seperate dog walks.

Very nice and friendly wardens keep the place immaculately clean.  Fresh smelling shower blocks and toilets with lovely hot water.  Nice safe childrens' playgrounds too.

The surrounding area has much to offer the first time visitor and if you follow the recommendations in the book entitled "Cooks Night Off" in the club information room you will find some very nice and decently priced places to dine close by.

Highly recommended and we will be back for a return visit.  Thank you to the wardens for a good job well done. :-)
